Dearest Francesca,

September is a lovely time of the year, made even more lovely for me by lots of music-making and moving into my new home. All of which brings about inspiration for more songs. Here are some things that will definitely inspire me this month.

Toowoomba Festival THIS SATURDAY

This is my first band gig since the "Things That We Had Said" EP was released. I am so excited about playing these songs with my band. I'd be a shame if you missed it. Come along and make a weekend of it. I would love to see you there. (For out-of-town-ers, Toowoomba is a 1.5 hour drive from Brisbane).

Emma & The Hungry Truth

So my side project just got so much more front and centre! In this band I play keyboards, synth bass, violin, percussion and sing backing vocals. It's some of the best fun I've had on stage. We have just released our first single - Always The Last To Know. I'd love to know what you think. There are a few funny hidden things in the music video. Can you pick them?

I hope to see you at a show this month. Enjoy the change of energy at this time of year.
